Antique Fullers slide rule by StanleyANTIQUE FULLERS SPIRAL SLIDE RULE CALCULATOR. In its original case, with instructions and lacquered brass mounting bracket. This slide rule is in excellent condition. All the lettering and numbers are clearly visible and there are no marks to the scale. The name FULLERS SPIRAL SLIDE RULE” is printed on the rule. The makers’ name STANLEY Maker LONDON” is also printed on the scale. The serial number 12665” and date of manufacture 61” are engraved on the long cursor and there is also a conversion scale (how things have changed). Even the case is in excellent condition with its brass catches and hinges. -£695

silver sacchormeter by LADD & OERTLINGA silver SACCHAROMETER by LADD & OERTLING, Manufacturers of Bullion, Chemical and Assay BALANCES and HYDROMETER MAKERS to the BOARD OF INLAND REVENUE, the Bank of England, the Assay Offices of the Royal mint, The U.S. Mint & Anglo-Mexican Mint. This early hydrometer is silver (plated?), complete with a full set of 3 matching, numbered weights, and is signed Ladd & Oertling, LONDON, Nr. 3065, as well as having the scale 0 – 50 on the stem. It comes in a blue lined Mahogany case, which has a trade label on the inside of the lid and room for a thermometer. - £175
